The ORC Analyst: A Day in the Life

This webinar explores the critical role of the ORC Analyst in supporting command staff, investigators, and retail partners through intelligence sharing, suspect identification, operational reporting, meeting coordination, and strategic crime analysis.

Topics include managing ORC intelligence distribution, producing weekly and long-term shoplifting trend reports, supporting Organized Retail Crime Task Force operations, coordinating retailer engagement meetings, and developing actionable presentations and analytical products that drive investigations and enforcement efforts.

Presenter

Jibril Muhaymin-Rashid has served with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department for 15 years and currently works as a Data Analytics Specialist in the Crime Analysis and Data Analytics Division. In this role, he supports the Airport, Freedom, Metro, and North Patrol Divisions, as well as specialized units including Organized Retail Crime, Arson, Aviation, Nuisance Abatement, and the Rental Property Unit.
